Student Literature Strategies (Communication Games)

Student Literature Strategies
1. Communication Games
- Communication games are classroom activities that create opportunities and purposes for listening and verbal communication practice.
-The purpose most times is to convey information or cause something to occur as a result of the activity.
-Games are used in the classroom to reinforce and develop concepts and add interest to regular activities.

  • The teacher should begin by identifying a language need.
  • Modeling the game.
  • Organize the pairs or groups, in the classroom.
  • The teacher should guide the students through the activities when they are practicing.
  • Their should be a classroom discussion about the experience.
  • Lastly the teacher should assess the students' abilities to communicate orally.
