1. Attribute Charting
-Also called semantic feature analysis
-Is a way of visually organizing information to support student's understanding of the attributes of the concept being studied.
-Supports ELL's because the chart they make clearly illustrates their understanding of the main attributes of a topic.
- The teacher must begin by choosing the concept to chart
- Discuss attributes or traits
- Explore the material (meaning engaging students)
- Use the charted material in a follow-up assignment or activity
- Add a sense of technology(Microsoft Excel)
