3. Story Reenactment
-Is a strategy that encourages students to act out stories after they have read them or have heard them read.
-Involves creating props for the students to use in reenacting stories so that they can use the language from a book they have read.
-Encourages better comprehension of the text as well.
- The teacher must read the story (for or along with the students)
- The teacher must retell the story
- The teacher must allow students to gather and make props (in groups, can create point teams)
- The teacher must find a place to store the props in the classroom
- The props must be used to retell the story
- The teacher can assess the retelling of the stories and grade the students based on their version/comprehension
