3. Combining and Scheduling Strategies
- Ways to have classroom organization, scheduling instruction and providing meaningful follow-up and practice. 
-Small group instruction for your students, small group instruction will serve as an important part of the school day. 
-Can only take place when all students are engaged in meaningful activity that supports learning.


  • The teacher must begin by establish classroom routines and expectations early.
  • Provide a print-rich environment (posters, charts, books in English and students first languages, and magazines)
  • Strive for full implementation to meet the needs of all students
  • Monitor and assess on a regular basis
  • Use self-evaluation and reflection to improve your instruction
